About Caren Reynolds
Accelerated Momentum was founded by Caren Reynolds. Caren became an accredited coach in 2007 after spending 16 years in corporate America working in corporate training, leadership and organizational development and talent management. Caren chose to move from the corporate world into coaching because she enjoys the one-on-one interaction with clients paired with longer engagement periods. The concentrated effort and length of time of typical coaching relationships have proven to create more sustainable change for her clients. She considers it a privilege to be a partner with her clients in achieving their most important goals.
Caren specializes in career and personal coaching for executives with dynamic lives using the Results Coaching System. The Results Coaching System is based on contemporary neuroscience, including the domains of awareness, reflection, insight, attention and habit. Through this “brain-based” coaching system, Caren leverages what we know about releasing positive chemicals in the brain to motivate and accelerate progress toward goals.
Caren is a Registered Corporate Coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and is currently pursuing her Associate Certified Coach accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Her affiliation with ICF binds her to the organization’s Code of Ethics for Coaching Professionals. She is also certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which identifies our personal preferences and gives insight into how we most prefer to interact in their environment and make decisions. The MBTI can help in the pursuit of change and excellence.
Caren’s previous experience in learning and development for multiple Fortune 500 companies has given her the ability to tackle problems, evaluate the variables and recommend solutions on a large scale—a skill set which also applies to her coaching methodologies. She has a proven track record of driving performance by supporting associates and integrating initiatives and has a talent for proactively identifying gaps and trends and implementing programs to improve overall performance. Caren’s expertise includes team leadership, creating collaboration among diverse teams, gap analysis and strategic planning, and curriculum development, delivery and evaluation.
Caren holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Rollins College. She has also completed over 200 hours of formal certification education to support her role as a coach. In addition to maintaining a busy career schedule, she has also completed several triathlons, including a Half Ironman, and is involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Tampa and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Caren’s belief in her coaching system is derived from following its principles herself as she juggles these many pursuits.
